Songi Island
[Scenic Site 9] Songido Island
Introduction
It is called Songido Island as its shape resembles an ear of human and there are many pine trees and in the island. Pebble (mongstone) beach located before the village, produces unusual scenery as soft and round shape of pebble created by sea wave for long period of time, go for about 1km. It was once designated top-100 beautiful island by Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in year of 2003, and at Gyema port of Hongnong-eup, passenger ship is operated once a day.
